The SwitchDin app is now ‘Stormcloud by SwitchDin’
Stormcloud:
We’ve launched new branding for our app and user interface, and ‘the SwitchDin app’ is now known as ‘Stormcloud by SwitchDin’ in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
The ‘SwitchDin Installer app’ is being retired; if you are still using this app, please switch to the Stormcloud app, which has all the same features and functionalities
Alert bug fix & alert muting improved: it is now possible to selectively mute alarms for a site, portfolio, or whole profile
Dispatch history table for virtual power plants: Unit names are now visible, and it is possible to analyse dispatches
There is a new role for ‘VPP administrators’ who can enrol / invite people to a virtual power plant without running the VPP, enabling them to set up a VPP without having access to operational controls
A ‘delete account’ function is now available in Stormcloud
Improvements to scheduling and policies in VPP management
Extra metrics added to the Stormcloud API
Major improvements to StormcloudIQ, SwitchDin's data analytics and visualisation platform
Integration updates:
Improvements to driver for Sungrow Hybrid inverters
Improvements to Stiebel Eltron heat pump hot water system
Improvements to SolarEdge discovery
Added support for relay control for Acurev meters
